On Wednesday, May 15th, SupaJam's Joint CEOs, David Court and Nick Stillwell, received a prestigious invitation – to Buckingham Palace!
The invitation was to attend the Royal Garden Party, a celebration of the UK's thriving creative industries.
Not only did David and Nick have the opportunity to mingle with other leaders in the creative field, but they also had a truly special encounter – a chance to meet His Majesty the King himself!
The King was extremely interested to hear about SupaJam and was especially interested in how music and the music industry can act as a catalyst to build confidence and lead to successful outcomes and progression for young people who have previously struggled in formal education.
The King's interest in SupaJam's work is a tremendous honour and a significant boost for our mission. It validates our approach and underscores the vital role music can play in empowering young people.
